I'd pay $50 again, but I'm a sucker for these type of games. There are a decent number of mission types, but at this point I've done them all a good number of times and they are becoming repetitive, but I think that is probably to be expected after 60 hours. It is kind of disappointing, at times, that after going through a ton of enemies that I have a bunch of shit that I know I'm probably just going to dismantle for parts or sell. Then I tried to re-bind the throttle and found the game isn't even recognizing the. I loaded Star Wars Squadrons to test my gear and had no issues, so I rebooted and tried again in ES2(no changes). Lots of starting and stopping on a dime, extremely swift strafing, a really high turn speed. I've come back this morning only to find the game is no longer recognizing any input from the HOTAS system. More like a traditional 6 dof shooter like Descent than a space sim like Wing Commander. Yanking a throttle back and forth like crazy isnt quite as effective, let alone the mouse precision. ![]() With KB/m it is easy because it only knows full deflection. Once you get how crafting items and components work then it opens up quite a bit and gives you a lot more avenues of gameplay and motivates you to engage more in resource gathering and such. Hello, I bought and played ES2 on launch day and things worked fine with my Logitech X56. You have to change to full deflection so often to stay mobile. There is a bit of a learning curve to understand how all the different systems work.
